Welcome to daFixas. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, mobile platforms, and services. By engaging with daFixas, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
- “daFixas,” “we,” “our,” “us” – refers to the daFixas brand, its employees, and authorized representatives.
- “Client,” “you,” “your” – refers to the person or entity requesting our services.
- “Tradesperson/Artisan” – refers to independent skilled workers engaged through daFixas to provide services to clients.
2. Scope of Services
daFixas provides repair, maintenance, renovation, installation, and related skilled trade services through its team of in-house and independent tradespeople.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.
3. Service Requests & Estimates
- Service requests must include accurate details about the project scope, location, and timeline.
- Cost estimates are based on preliminary information and may change after on-site inspection.
- Estimates are valid for 7 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
4. Payments
- Payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins.
- Full payment (or agreed deposit) must be made according to the service agreement.
- Late payments may attract additional fees.
- Payments should be made only via official daFixas channels; we are not responsible for transactions made to unauthorized persons.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide clear and accurate information when booking a service.
- Ensure the work area is safe, accessible, and free from hazards before work starts.
- Secure any necessary permits or permissions for the work (if applicable).
- Inspect the completed work upon delivery and promptly raise any concerns.
6. Tradesperson/Artisan Responsibilities
- Provide services professionally and to an acceptable standard of workmanship.
- Use safe, approved, and quality materials.
- Comply with agreed timelines, except where delays are caused by factors beyond reasonable control.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients must notify daFixas at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to reschedule or cancel without penalty.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- daFixas is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damages, or unsafe conditions at the service location.
- For independent contractors engaged via daFixas, our liability is limited to the scope of our service agreement with the client.
9. Warranties
- Workmanship warranties (if any) will be outlined in the individual service agreement.
- Warranty claims are void if the work is altered or repaired by another party without our consent.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, images, and designs on our website are the property of daFixas and may not be used or reproduced without permission.
11. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.
12. Changes to Terms
daFixas may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
